Ok so maybe this title is a little misleading because we
are, in fact, already here.
But we did spend the majority of the day today on the road.
I’m happy to report though, that it was nothing like the 9-hour trek we had to
make last year. This time, we left the house around 8:30am and got up here just after 1,
after having stopped a couple times for gas and such.
I know I’ve said this
a million times, but I’m just looking forward to some down time with our
families, and to be on the beach and just hang out. We’re binging the Olympics
and walking to the beach and eating seafood—and that was just today.
Here’s to the week. (Uh, though I’ll be here because, you
know, dedicated and all that.)
